Ohhhhh Yeaaaaa. The Lady Bengal soccer team finished region play last night with a 7-0 win over Camden and an 8-2 region record.
Scoring for us last night were:
Alisha “Love Song” Mitchell
Alexis “The Ace” Fountain
Alexis “OH NO YOU DIDN’T just get me wet” Allen
Chelsea “OH MY GOSH” Mizzell
Allison “Killer” Kowalski
Michelle “Sugar Ray” Ray
Taylor “FEEBS” Coulter
Mandie Brillhart recorded the shut out in goal while the rest of the varsity ladies played outstanding soccer as well.
Great 2nd half ladies!
Come join us over yonder behind the school for Senior Night next Tuesday at home against Rock Hill at 6:00. We will be giving away free grass clippings to the first 5 people who show up.

There are no morning announcements during HSAP so here you go:
Dad-burn-gum-it!
Congrats to the Lady Bengal soccer team for their 4 to zero win last night at Lugoff-Elgin. We went to a soccer game and just about ended up playing Australian Rules Football- I think their rugby team may have taken a wrong turn and ended up on the soccer pitch last night.
In any event, to the goals scored.
Alexis “I’ve got a new boyfriend” Fountain led the way with a well earned brace of goals.
Alisha “Baby Face” Mitchell followed up with another great goal of her own
While Lindsay “GET IN MY BELLY” Taylor closed out the scoring with another header shortly before time was called.
A special call out also goes to MISTER Michelle “Sugar Ray” Ray for a game worthy of a nickname. WOW!
Come take a ride with us over to Brookland-Cayce Wednesday to watch us play in the cage against the number 5 ranked bearcats.

If this is correct ladies, it us vs. West Ashley again!
For those not in the know....
In our first year we faced West Ashley in the SECOND round of the Viking Cup--- in the consolation bracket- lost 0-9
Last year- our season year- we AGAIN faced West Ashley in the SECOND round - in the consolation bracket-- lost 0-4
This year- our third season and for the third year in a row we face -WEST ASHLEY0 in the WINNERS bracket!!!!! Score---- yet to be decided!!!!!

CUFC will have an updated score reporting bracket that you can get to either from the link above, or directly at

Just cut and paste those links if you want to use them.
